By decree of 31 March 2026, the Minister of Economy and Finance adopted national freezing measures pursuant to Article 4 of Legislative Decree No. 109/2007 in order to give effect to the amendments made by the United Nations Security Council to the list adopted under UN Security Council Resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da'esh), Al-Qaida and associated individuals and groups.
The decree, which enters into force on the day of its adoption, has been published on the institutional website of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and can be consulted at the following link: Decreto-di-congelamento-risorse-Nabagala.pdf.
The decree is valid for six months and may be renewed under the same terms and procedures. In any event, the decree shall cease to have effect upon publication in the Official Journal of the European Union of the legal acts implementing the above-mentioned decision of the United Nations Security Council.
