The Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Roma Capitale and the Region of Lazio have issued a joint press release announcing the launch today of the new website promoting Italy's bid for Rome to be the seat of the new European Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA), to be established in 2024. The website https://www.romeforamla.eu/ describes the key features and strengths of Italy's candidacy, in line with the criteria stated in the European Commission's call for applications, which was published on 28 September and sets 10 November as the deadline for the submission of applications.
